Advice on 'feeding' DSJ

I’m replacing a BMC PureDAC with a DSJ. The unit is part of my computer setup, and is next to (actually behind) the computer (iMac 5K, music on Thunderbolt connected Pegasus Raid). Currently, the connection between computer and DAC is USB. The introduction of the DSJ brings up the possibility of connecting the computer and DAC via a LAN connection. [The DAC is used as a pre-amp and feeds a bel canto amp, KEF LS50s, and a Gallo sub.]

My main system contains big-brother DS and is connected via a Bridge II card; and I’m quite happy with that.

Roon serves both systems.

Any suggestions as to the best way to go?
