Many thanks to @adifferentpaul! He knew my wife and I were getting in a bit later than we normally do, and I think feeling pity on us as we’d have missed our Lou Malanti’s “first evening in town” pizza, he kindly invited us to his place where he had not only a Malnati’s waiting for us, but an opportunity to share dinner as well with his very lovely sister Jennifer! 
Afterwards we sat and listened to what in my opinion was a wonderful, greatly advanced system from last year. All his work resulted in what the first words that came to my mind were “unfettered musicality”. Speed, space, dimensionality, imaging, all of which were not at the expense of being able to sit and smile at just enjoying the music. A job very nicely done!

I woke up this morning to an urgent message postponing the event that kept me from Axpona this year. The expletives will continue flying out of my mouth probably all day.
I miss all you guys. I love the gear, I’m a gearhead. But mostly I miss all of my friends.

Okay. I’ll be heading down in a bit. For those who don’t remember what I look like, I made it easier this year as my wife is back with me at the show. If you see a guy around 170 pounds in glasses with a cute, 5’ nothing woman with him, that’s us!

Wish I was there. How did it sound? interesting corner of room setup. seems like they bought in some room treatments. I know show rooms are always hard to get right.
I have a one day ticket that will go unused if anyone needs it for a friend or to attend an additional day. First DM gets it (free, ofc); I’ll forward it in either Apple or Google wallet form. Sad to have to miss it, YET AGAIN.
