Tim Anderson is a future MVP I think. And he Plays with such joy. Good days coming.
The South-Siders launched six bombs last night - six - and destroyed my Cubbies 10-1. Better result tonight, I hope.
Cheers.
My White Sox, and Lucas Giolito, pick up a brilliant no hitter. I do love the sport, it sure can be beautiful. Hope you were watching @umiami91!
I guess the Natās could use Lucas and the other pitchers they gave away for Eaton now. That trade turned out to be completely one sided.
A good night.
Tigers 7 Cubs 1ā¦ !!
Tigers 7 Cubs 6ā¦ ! Maybe things are starting to look up in Detroit
Iāve announced to my entire Chicago family that Iām rooting for a Cubs
/White Sox World Series. Big deal if you knew me. It would be good for lots of reasonsā¦
The Sox and the North Siders are both sitting atop their divisions.
āFallā springs eternal?
Cheers.
Good times for sure.
I used to root for the Miami Marlins (when?)
Chas
Baseball can be so beautiful. Iāve watched Eloy Jimenez hit the game winning 3 run home run last night, for my White Sox, several times now. He is challenged in the field, I guess getting better, but has a beautiful swingā¦and those red batting gloves make it fun to watch his hands move through the strike zone.
What a day for North Siders! A no-no from a no name starter with a 66 mph curve ball who looks like a bespectacled bookwormā¦ plus ā¦ 12 run offense. That on top of yesterdays rally in the 9th. Iād say the Cubs have woken up again. Wow!! Gotta find me a high res download of Go Cubs Go for my rig.
Go Cubs Gooo, Go Cubs Gooo ā¦!!!
Rooting for a Red Line World Series. What a huge morale booster it would be for a city that needs it. And somebody gets a ticker tape parade Chicago-style whoever wins. October is gonna be fun.
Even though Iām a Tigers fan, a White Sox/Cubs World Series would be coolā¦ Even though we won in 1984 Iām still a little miffed that the Cubs let the Padres off the hook and didnāt make it in 1984
That series was a nightmare for this Cubs fan.
And the tigers shredded the padres in a 5 game sweep.
Still SMHā¦
The AL Central thanks Ron Gardenhire for a great career.
