# BHK preamp tube rolling problem

Hello

I try to roll my BHK preamp tube but when I open the top shelf , seem I cannot locate the tube inside but just the large toroida transformer as show in the picture

Did I do anything wrong ?

Hi, it look like your top cover is 180 degrees turned. The ‘open part’ should be close to the backside, not the front. Best regards, Jos

Thank … in that case need PS audio advice … how to remove the entire upper ‘black cover’ ?

Does that mean my unit has issue with the wrong orientation of the upper lit ?

Thank … I checked with another thread about how to open the top shelf and did it. I also reverse back the orientation
