[Budget] Hi-Fi CD player

Hello. I’m looking for a budget Hi-Fi CD player. And would like some help regarding choosing the right product for me. I’m an owner of the Sprout100 with Elac UNI-FI BS U5 speakers.

Now I’m looking for a good CD player around the 300 USD mark.

  • What are the things I need to look at that is important before purchasing?
  • Is a budget of 300 USD reasonable to find a Hi-Fi CD player?
  • Are there any trusted sources where I can watch reviewers of CD players?

Used Cambridge CXC can be had for ~$300.

These units are rock solid. Can use as a CD player or just as a transport.
