# Can't Get Roon to Recognize Bridge II

I’ve been using [JRiver](https://www.jriver.com/) and decided to give [Roon](https://roonlabs.com/) a try. I can’t get Roon 2.0 to recognize the [Bridge](https://www.psaudio.com/products/perfectwave-bridge/). It is recognized by JRiver just fine. The DNS server IP and subnet for the Bridge appear to match the computer (PC Windows 10) on which I have the Roon Core.

Make sure you have the latest Bridge ii software. It’s been a while since I thought about the bridge but at one point it couldn’t do roon, or so I recall. You might find what you need here:

Likely the Bridge needs an update. Otherwise it should show up in the Roon ready devices.

Bridge firmware says up to date 3.6.86
