Difference between Perfectwave Bridge Revisions

Hello,

What is the latest revision of the Perfectwave Bridge?

Are the Perfectwave Bridge later revisions better than the old ones?

I can buy a revision A. That is the reason for my question!

Since no one else has answered I’ll give it a shot. To the best of my knowledge there is only one hardware version of the bridge, at least in terms of functionality. There have been numerous changes to the firmware over the last three years or so. There is a page with the latest firmware, go to the main drop down menu, look for Support, and then Downloads. Version 2.15 is the only one I saw. A new hardware version of the bridge is in the works, but has not been released.

pmotz has it right.

one hardware version [Bridge2 to come early 2015]

Many firmware versions. [ latest is 2.15a]

If you are installing to a PWD then you should be fine.

If you are installing to a DS then it is best to check with PS Audio customer support as there may be an issue with a Bridge1 being installed to a DS without first upgrading firmware to the latest version BEFORE insertion.

Then why do some bridges say Rev. A, Rev. C or Rev. C(1). Does this indicate some hardware changes?

Is the Rev. C(1) the most recent?

I think so.
