Directstream uses In/Out to describe polarity. If it is set to In, is there any polarity change or is there only a polarity change when set to Out?

It’s a binary condition. So “In” would mean the polarity is not switched and “Out” would mean polarity is switched. In other words, the polarity is different in each setting and is changed from one setting to the other.
