I updated to 3.07 from 2.08 and get the PCM 88.2/24 on screen and also on the DAC. Tried different SACDs, all dual layers, and all show up the same. Downloaded 3.06; no fix. Went back to 2.08 and that too displays PCM.
I tried everything mentioned in this discussion. Seems most, if not all, were able to correct the problem with multiple tries, re-boot, etc. Not me. DSD is gone forever!
Anything else I should try?
I believe the issue is a stuck handshake.
Paul mentioned this will be taken care of in the next firmware release.
actually when i had the screen issue i was able to get it to work several times until it finally conked out for good

Fully agree. Reminds me of a Sinclair computer in terms of functionality but obviously not cost
