The PWT plays high resolution files on DVD brilliantly.
You an burn files of different sampling rates on the DVD to easily allow direct comparisons if you are interested.
No DSD though…

Please. We do not need to hear, yet again, your complaint, ad nauseum, that the PWT and PWD do not play DSD.
As a wild ass guess, (I am way out on a limb here), I bet this lack of DSD capability is precisely why the OP bought the Loki and is nicely relating his experience. This is quite interesting.
Anyone here not know the PWD and PWT both do not handle DSD?
