A stormy morning;Tobi the Supermutt is not at all happy, clinging to me, we’re waiting for it to stop so we can go out.
I started off re-listening to the second UHQCD disc in the Lost Recordings Miles Davis 1964 set (I sure wish they had found and used the tapes to the second show in Berlin, I’d love to thave a disc of that!), and now am listening to:
Bobby Gordon And Dave McKenna “Clarinet Blue” Arbors cd.
A great quartet recording where Bobby mirrors some Pee Wee Russell characteristics, something I really admire.

This disc finishes the very long “Dark Star” sandwich from this night–a 71 minute journey from Dark Star verse 1 to Saint of Circumstance to Eyes of the World to Drums to Space to The Other One to Dark Star verse 2. Too bad they split that over two discs.
