Gryphon PowerZone the hype is real!

This is quite interesting to know actually.

Zenwave PSR-11 will be used to power PZ, Dave sent me the 52 NCF for the right connector. It matches everything Dragon offers but with more fullness and musicality; it’s a great one to be used for PZ, I am sure!

Leaving for a nice walk in golf course, it’s about 6miles to match with Al’s daily routine 🏌🏽‍♂️

Happy golfing Donald. Then you have an NCF C13 connector left that wants to connect to a Dragon.:rofl: Do you own two Dragon Sources for direct comparison?

One HC and two S, no spared NCF :man_shrugging:

I had the same experience at @aangen place listening with his Powerzone.

I see there are two AQ Hurricane versions, one is the earlier version, with three interwoven cables the second or current version appears to be non interwoven. I wonder if there is much of a sonic difference.

I do not know. I have only the later, unwoven, version. They look better to me.

A more finished look to be sure.

You can select braided or non-braided. For shorter length many complained the braided version is too hard to bend, so the current production is non-braided (unless you select otherwise).

I had no idea, makes sense.

Is it confirmed no fuse needed for PowerZone? Then I do not need to worry about FB with an expensive pigtail either. :no_good_man:

I was told by Al they are on their way to America!

No fuse or power button. Just 8 outlets 1 power inlet for 3.10 2 for 3.20

Plug it in and forget it.

You could always tape a fuse to it if you wish. Maybe tape some AA Batteries as well.

I have a couple of plug-in conditioners in hand, they might work better than taped fuse. But they could ruin PZ too😆

I’m frying… can’t wait to read your comments as soon as your PowerZones arrive, lucky guys!

No worries, Christmas is only three months away! Imagine how beautiful holiday songs will sound with PowerZone in your system.

Of course it needs a few hundred hours of break in so you may need to have a very early Christmas gift for yourself.

Actually, it sounds wonderful out of the box. A. Week later, more wonderful. And after three weeks, holy moly! The fact that it has no power switch makes it pretty easy.

@aangen is correct. I was bitten by the PowerZone and right out of the box minus a slight hiccup on my part the PZ sounds fantastic right out of its wooden crate. I don’t remember how much better it became after burning in because it never sounded bad to my ears. I believe there is 40-45 hours on them at the factory before they leave.

So far no one has compared the PZ to an Audioquest Niagara 5000 yet ?
