Funny this thread got active again, I was just talking to friends about how great the product is, since weed was legalized for recreational use in NY
Even the packaging is first rate, almost like getting an Apple product
Heavy, pressed cardboard with magnetic closures and matches for the pre-rolls, same material for the eighth’s, etc

It’s kind of wild how certain strains can completely change the way music hits. Not in an over-the-top way, but just enough to shift your mood, ease your body, and let you sink into the sound a bit deeper. Especially if you’re dealing with any kind of lingering pain or stiffness, something mellow with a good CBD balance can really take the edge off.
Been reading more lately about how people are using cannabis for chronic pain in a medical context too, like through regulated clinics in the UK (Releaf). Interesting how the line between recreational and therapeutic is getting blurrier in a good way.

10 days growth. Just about ready for the 5" pots. While all 14 sprouted and are growing 2 are twisty and may not make it. Time will tell. Then to weed out the males.

Technically, yes. It’s 1/4" layer of neoprene to keep the cold from the marble counter top from chilling the water. There’s a ‘hot pad’ too that keeps them ~77 deg F.

What is the strain?
I call it Frank’s weed since I got it from Frank and Frank got it from some UCLA researchers while out hiking in the mountains near Pasadena back in '71 or '72, he can’t remember exactly. He’s grown only this since! The longitudinal study was purportedly funded by the Feds to test the impact of maryjuana on the <18 year old brain. I’ve not been able to ever find the study, perhaps it’s not been digitized yet or never published or got buried in a government store house never to be seen.
It’s nicely balanced, chill but active, get things done without any harsh effects or ‘too much’ feeling. I should have it tested but it’s relatively low THC. Nothing like the massive % produced these days but way better, cleaner than old brown weed from south of the border back in the day.
