Has anyone tried a HDMI to cat network converter to bridge II? Maybe use this to play DVD audio from my Oppo to bridge II?
The Bridge II will not know what to do with the HDMI signal. HDMI to Ethernet bridges work great but they only serve to extend the HDMI signal, not change it, one also needs to have both a transmitter and receiver that changes back to standard HDMI cable connection.
The Bridge II simply won’t see a signal it can use.
