How about concert photos?

I’m with Her, tonight at the Carmel, IN, Palladium.

We went to see Chicago last week at a new venue in Virginia Beach called The Dome. Really nice place to see a show. The venue can be set up different ways, but for Chicago it about 2,500 in attendance. It was actually the first time we have seen them and they were excellent. It was a great evening.

Blues Traveler with Better than Ezra and The Record Company on July 4th at Red Rocks in Colorado. Blues Traveler has been plaything the 4th at Red Rocks for over 30 years now and we have seen him a few times now. For those that have not seen Blues Traveler live, they are actually a blues jam band and the radio is not a great depiction of them. I’ll often change the radio if they came on, but live they are fantastic and much more to my taste.

A highlight was bringing out Cody Blackbird to jam with on “100 Years”. That is going to be a special experience that I think will stay with me for a while.

Another fun aspect of the show at Red Rocks on the 4th is that the stands look out at Denver, so you have all the fireworks shows over Denver as the backdrop for the main act.

Better than Ezra was a really odd throw back. They were never exactly my thing, but it kind of sounds like middle school to me in a somewhat fun way.

The Record Company was fantastic again. We also saw them back in February doing a 10 year anniversary show of their first album. However, they only had a 30 min set, so they just played hits for the show but absolutely killed it. The 4th of July crowd has much more of a family vibe than a typical concert at Red Rocks, so it is far from the easiest show to get the crowd going but The Record Companies energy got the crowd going better than I have seen at one of these 4th of July shows before. I really just wish they had more of Better than Ezra’s time as I wanted to keep rocking.

Andy Frasco and the U.N. with Cultet at the Levitt Pavilion on July 11 2026. They said it was the biggest show there to date and had 10K, but it did not look like 10K people to me.

Cultet opened. I was not familiar before but I enjoyed them and am going to look into them more.
Poor guys were up there in the sun while it was still in the high 90s.

First time seeing Andy Frasco and the U.N. as well but they were a lot of fun and were very high energy. Sounds like they have been around 20 years and I’m late to the party. My wife had a good time too and they said they just booked Red Rocks for next summer, so we may see them again.

AC/DC from this week, they sounded so good, Brian had a great show.
