oh well, i was about to gave it a shot to Maestro but…
My Young Adult asked me, how many years you try to program and install the perfect music database for your music in sound and collection?
the answer was since the first window media player! and even before, real music, you remember?
So more than 30 years. I realize, it was such a waste of time!
So a week a go, I enter my NAS Database, and discard all memories music (it is there, but I don’t really listen it anymore. it is only fun, when I hear randomly on radio or at the mall).
I kept my original for case of nostalgia, then I will play the CD or the vinyl, but it won’t happen for me.
I realize that streaming, made music disposable and company are milking boomer with nostagia!
Do Ozzy; Page or the stone need more money nope! even them have move along, they sell there entire catalogue, Dylan did it!.
The Stone, move along, they will produce a new album this summer, new material!
Frankly, the impact and answer of kid question was: do i still need five copy of Lez Zeppelin 1; HCalifornia (Original lp’s; 1 CD, remaster, remaster of remaster, remaster of remaster of remaster and soon to be there will be out, a 50years version) answer is now obvious:
Nope.
Also keeping that nostalgia music, that pollute recommandation of the algorithm of Music; QoBuz, Tidal, Spotify, and A.I. music!
In fact, the only one application, that was well built and really worked and that I had really like was Rdio app found back then on apple store*
* Rdio: did you remember the Canadian Application Rdio (it was bought many decade ago, by a company call now Qobuz), it was the perfect database app, but what they did, is cancel our subscription, refund us, and kept out there new application out of Canada for 15years! now it still same program, with a few update, but nothing new except the milking!
So a new streamer App (Maestro), maybe, but I will wait stability and bullet proof version (but it won’t happen, Software since there beginning are “soupe du jour” program! I have build 50 streaming application in windows and all crash each time new windows version appear!
The only thing now, it is simple: You ask AI, he will built you one, it will take about 1 week of testing and improving and it will work. Only thing is you have to carefully chose your request and be precise and it will work for a month, then you will have to update (software version, virus, security process, etc.)
Hardware are getting close to there top, but software there is infinitive possibility that make it almost impossible to end.
In fact, It is what the computer do with the number that count, not the hardware!
TDA 1540 and TDA 1542, with modern computer music do wonders! and they are 50years old! Philips got it right with this chip and this chip sound vinyl, amazingly vinyl!
So now, back to my work, the Database is clean.
If I need new music, I go with internet radio streaming with Shazam. I only need to do some like and increase my music listing. but I will not invest more time trimming and try program for music!
Now I will just pay my rent to QoBuz or Muzic or Tidal or Spotify, like my kids do, they don’t buy, they rent (car; music; movie; home; etc.)
for fun, before the damn question, I have tweaked my window and just push and improved the sound of my Stellar gain cell amazingly great.
Why the sound improved so much, it is well build (the stellar gain cell), now it is a matter of software, not hardware!
I have finished uploading my NAS database in music or whatever will be my renting services, then erase the local download, keep everything in the cloud, so when it play it play often the HiRes version, not mine, and since my clean version is uploaded in my renting streaming services, it provide better recommandation using the algorithm. This the simplest version I have found for good good music services
