And that is the truth. I have spent a lot on stereo bits due to advice here but haven’t been led astray yet.
And as the bits get changed or updated they are easily sold or traded out.

Is the correct description, it ain’t over ethernet, which is a frame/packet based protocol in the same way as as IP is (very loosely) - don’t forget ethernet can also go over coax and other media.
( I know ethernet and IP are somewhat different, but for the purposes of this discussion my point stands)
That’s a good point I didn’t realize that either. Having both streaming and server roles on the same machine opens up some interesting options. Thanks for the tip, definitely something worth exploring further

if you want to go full rez with iT product, use a old iP tablet and ad a Azon gizmo to it, to PS DAC.
using a Tablette, it’s the only way to don’t have Aplay compress, you will have full rez even with music membership! all other version will be compress.
Also work '“a la carte service”, and fun part with music website Jazz24 or Jazz Diego 88.3 streaming live from the web!
