Is there a way to customize one’s forum page to include or exclude topics?

Have you tried clicking on ‘normal’ and choose ‘muted’ or ‘tracking’?

Lower bottom left, below ‘bookmark’

Found it. Thanks!

Actually, I found the “mute” choice. Doesn’t work, but it is there to choose. Makes you feel successful for a moment.

There’s been a person or two I’d like to mute. They seem to fade away and go complain on another forum pretty quickly.

We can only mute topic and users, not exclude.

Once muted, you will no longer receive notifications from them (topics and/or users), but the posts will still be present.

Sorry. Life’s tough.

If a topic is inappropriate, or a user a troll, I will delete/ban. Otherwise it is probably good for all of us to be exposed to that which is otherwise of marginal interest or is annoying.

Careful, or you will cross the line . . .

You’ll live.

As I recall, if you mute a topic and access the forum through the “Latest” subheading you will not see the muted topic. This may be of use.

Thank you, Mr Stig

As with all such things, it is wise to keep in mind that for every person you would like to ban, they are at least two who would like to ban you.

Don’t jump to conclusions. I don’t want to ban anyone.

I have reached no such conclusion (and do not care either way.)

Think collective “you.” And note the emoticon.
