MQA Controversy

This is nonsense. HD FLAC (most commonly 24/96) is the predominant studio master format used by most record labels. HD FLAC is widely available without any problems from the likes of Amazon HD and Qobuz. High res streaming is not that popular, very few people pay for it, the vast majority stick to 16/44 FLAC, which is also the format for Tidal.

Streaming music is is piece of cake. I have a “basic” 400mbps, I could have twice as fast. The demand for these speeds is driven by online gaming, which is a massive market, many times larger than lossless music streaming.
