New PMG 512 streamer firmware

I have been having issue with playing some songs in play list. Via roon / Qobuz. One song from an artist on disc 1 worked, two songs from two other albums spun … forever every time I picked them. I am wondering if its related to the multiple album issue Al sees. My song is from the old album not supported any more??? who knows..its def annoying.

My internet connection very rarely goes down and if it does, upon restoration of service Wi-Fi protocols allow endpoints to reconnect automatically. I am not a Roon user, so (luckily) that’s not an issue for me, but as you say, Karl, a number of individuals have been having difficulties lately with Roon, specifically Qobuz through Roon.

Lately I’ve been having Qobuz tell me that “an error occurred” when I attempt to stream a piece I’ve listened to perhaps several times before, and it skips to the next track. If I wait a day, often the “error” disappears and the song plays. Could this be the/an issue with Qobuz/Roon?

At first I thought this is a Roon issue, but from other discussions in Roon as well as from Audiogon it seems the problem was more from Qobuz. When I use Oubuz Connect there was no music stopping. However, Oobuz simply skipped to the next track. Tidal does not have any issue so I am glad I subscribe to both.

I’m convinced that when I use Spotify I now am getting full Spotify resolution whatever that is at the time. But connecting to Spotify is well…spotty. I always have to restart the unit and it doesn’t always connect. Wonder what others are experiencing???

Through the streamer function, the current resolution I’m getting is still the very high 320bps bitstream. When I play Spotify over my Mac mini, in which I’m running the B4M, it plays ‘lossless’. And it does so over the B4M filter. It seems nice, but I normally use Roon.
