Key point is P20 is upgradable like Directstream via FPGA. Perhaps Ted can make it sound different for each upgrade like the Directstream DAC? I guess Paul and the team can comment on that.
FWIW I wasn’t involved with it (except a brief conversation with Bob about Sigma Delta modulation.) Being able to upgrade anything that has more than a drop of software is definitely a good thing.
I’m curious why a 120V version P20 is being reviewed in the Chinese market.
It’s because this is Taiwan where the voltage is the same as the US.
