Pathos Logos. What a stunner

If this integrate sounds as good as it looks, it would be a bargain at the very reasonable asking price of less than 6k.

I auditioned a Pathos integrate years ago and it was an extremely musical amp, but lacked the output I needed at the time. This integrate puts out a decent amount of power, 110 into 8 ohms, and 220 into 4.

It’s an amazing amp for the money. I got mine at TMR for about 1/2 retail. I can’t think of a amp in that price range (certainly not used) that offers the same performance and looks.

Very smooth and detailed presentation. Nothing not to like. Also built well (see Upscale vid) and should drive about anything. I had it driving Volti (excellent combo btw) but it was also capable with Studio 2s depending on what you listen to and your required volume levels.

So is it using two tubes for both the amp and pre amp section of the integrate?

Pretty sure the pair of tubes are for the pre and the amp is all solid state.

So the preamp section is using two pairs of tubes. I wonder if they’re just being used in the input section of the pre, or is the preamp using them in both the input and output stage?

There’s only one pair of tubes (and their reflection).

One set of tubes for Class A output to a AB Mosfet amp. Sounds glorious….Great design. Hybrids are not common but this one was done right.

I upgraded tubes to Amperex/ Bugle Boy from Brent Jesse. Well worth it and not expensive to do.

I may still have them if you go that direction.
