Paul- If you don't want our buisness anymore-just say so

All the hype about the Directstream 2. All the assumptions about Ted updating the software for years to come, and now you pull the plug.

Every time were served this bait and switch, our existing units plummet in value.

It certainly happened with the Directstream 1, and Directstream 2 is soon to follow.

And soon I won’t be able to access your forum because my up to date Browser won’t be compatible (Firefox)

If your looking to lose customers..keep it up ..its working.

I’m done.

Krell dog…get a grip… life goes on, its a business, how many times have people gotten married and gotten divorced , life changes… Tell me ONE business that has been as open and transparent as Paul’s PS Audio? Just one ?.. you got a Mk1 and Mk2 and name me ONE other manufacturer that has improved their product over and over (free after the purchase) to deliver multiple iterations that you might like…the answer is of course is “no other manufacturer”…
PS Audio needed to move on, dont defame PS Audio… Paul is a “stand up guy”… Is there another mfr that has trade in programs? NO…
Dont let your panties get in a bunch…if you dont wanna stick w the PS Audio brand, move on…
I am gonna purchase an Aspen speaker down the road, I am sure they will work on the deal w me down the road…
Find another manufacturer if your’e not happy
Buh bye !!!

137.0.2, no Firefox updates available, totally fine.

Maybe one of these jabronis with $69,000 cables took offense to your “i’m the center of the universe” griping, hacked you reeeeeeeeal good, and gave you a fake popup to scare you off.

I have a Windows7 computer and a Windows 10 computer. I also get the message on every browser on my Windows7 computer, as updates are no longer provided. I do not receive the message on my Windows10 computer. @Elk

7’s end of life was 5 years ago. it’s generally considered a security risk to still run it with an internet connection.

If krelldog is running an EOL operating system, that’s why he’s seeing that message. Firefox support for windows 7 ends in September.

It’s not just a browser issue; also older OS’s will no longer be supported. This is a decision made by Discord. If you get the warning banner click on ‘more info’ for a discussion. It is quite lengthy and technical. For anyone affected this forum (and others on Discord) will be read only after the end of April.

I’m using Windows 8.1 which will not be supported and Win 10 as well sometime in the future. For Windows this is because, in part, MS is dropping support for older OS’s. Win 10 support is being dropped in October. So upgrading to Win 10 will buy some time for Discord compatability for now.

A serviceable computer that supports windows 11 can be had for less than 1% of the price of a “nice” set of interconnects.

My Windows7 computer has software with perpetual licenses that are incompatible with Windows 8, 10 & 11, and that cannot be reinstalled, period. So I will continue to use my computer. I have good security software that I do not need because of safe computer practices.

I have a 2014 Mac Mini…probably the problem.

Why would you want to make an audio forum so difficult ?
