# Perfectwave DAC mk2 - No output

Apologies if this has been posted before (I did do a search…).
When I power up my PWD it finds the Mac input and plays music - for about 1 minute 50 seconds, then goes quiet. Turn it off, turn it on - another 1 minute 50 or so then silence. It has done it once or twice but then worked fine for months. The system has been switched off for a couple of weeks due to decorating and now I have fired it all up again it is doing it constantly.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Colin.

Well now, turned off the Mac mini server, restarted and everything is now working OK.
Any ideas?

Not terribly sure. I have to reboot my Mac on occasion in order to get the USB handshake. Once I do, it’ll work for months without issue.

Hi Jamesh, many thanks for taking the time to reply. I think you could be right - maybe the Mac doesn’t like connecting to something in the wrong order.
