That photo suggests Carter County has its own peculiar microclimate. I also wonder why with 26 letters to chose from, the inventor of Tennessee chose to use only 4 of them, repeatedly, only to be outdone by the inventor of Mississippi. I’m all for Iowa. I’ve actually always wanted to say I lived next to the river L’Aa, in the Pas de Calais. Aa is an old Dutch word for water, so it’s actually the River Water. Talk about a lack of imagination.
