Looks like an Ovation Legend or Balladeer.
I purchased one of those with some of the earnings from my first summer job when Moses was still a kid. Still have it 49 years later. Amazing instrument.

Yes, I agree, looks like one of those. I’ve never had an Ovation acoustic guitar (I have two mahogany Martins). But I do have an Ovation Breadwinner–that has one of the nicest necks I’ve ever had on a guitar, and also can be made to sound like an electric version of an acoustic guitar, that’s the closest I can come to describing it–it can provide a rhythm part that sounds like a rich acoustic. I need to take it in for some work–the output has a large hum–may be the old single-ended pickups in there or one of the caps.

Horny stuff.

I tried these in my bathroom. They sounded very realistic compared to some of the live sounds in there  Got rid of them only because my wife wanted another towel bar installed.

All that AND all the stuff needed to drive them and they still won’t sound like live music. :grinning:

Looks like guaranteed hearing lost even with flea watt powered amplifier. I can only imagine their sensitivity.

I would love to hear these with proper amplification and at a seated position at a more or less optimal distance.

They appear to be awfully tall.

SEE

They probably require upwards of 8 watts to power them.

I figure 8 watts up top and 800 watts down below.
