Plug in power line enhances

Yes, I think they are quite effective!

Our experience with PS Audio regenerators differs significantly, as I never owned one I had confidence in, and I’ve had four. If you wait too long to repair your P15 you may find the required parts are obsolete, and may not be readily available.

I’m aware of your lack of knowledge on the subject and the danger of waiting too long. I have to wait though. I take my chances.

Other than for system servicing or electrical storms, my P20 has not been turned off for many years; I would guess 10?

My transport is ready to come back, and also packaging for the P15. I’ll wait a bit and save up for the repair on that.

And tomorrow and Wednesday my Verafi Line Noise Black Holes and my Snub Station Zero should arrive. I have been tweaking the system to sound really good with the Zen Line Conditioner in place of the P15, and I’m ready to see what these two products will add.

Question for any Veri fi Mainstream owner?

Does yours run warm or cold? I have one that runs cool and one that runs pretty warm. Does it matter? Can’t seem to get a definitive answer.

Do you mean the temperature outside of MS? Mine is as cold as a cucumber. There is no adjustment on this thing, right?

Mine arrives today, so I’ll pay attention to temperature. Will report out in several days. The Snubway basically trends at room temperature.

Donald, didn’t you download the Snubway/MainStream IOS app?

Kidding aside it is a passive device, I’d be surprised if it warms up noticeably. Regardinhg a device running warm it might be worth checking in with the Vera-Fi guru, Mark.

In one review of the mainstream the device was reported being pretty warm to the touch as was one of mine.

Then it went cold and I asked Mark about it and he said it was normal to run warm because part of the guts are potted. He then exchanged it for another one and it too is cold.

I then had a conversation with another owner about his being cold and he said Mark told him that cold was ok. So I don’t know what the definitive answer is…warm or cold!

The Snubways are cold to the touch…that being normal according to Mark!

Mine just showed up and is plugged in as I type this. Not warm at the moment. Gives off a nice Blue Aura.

Mine is warm but not very warm. And is definitely working.

My Snub Station Zero came in and is in place powering my amp through one of the outlets in my Zen Line Conditioner. I have to admit with less than an hour in use it has made a noticeable difference for the better.

Sounds like could be a QC problem with the Mainstream although the sound quality is there! :man_shrugging:t2:

Could also be a part change between manufacturing batches.

Maybe… But I would think Mark would have mentioned that… inquiring minds need to know!

Newbie question regarding the Vera-fi Snubway verses the Main Stream. Upon initially installing the Main Stream it emits a blue glow from the rear, the Snub Way on the other hand does not. I assume this is to be expected, but thought I’d ask those that have both.

Moved the Main Stream from the outlet ffeding the Gryphon Power Zone to a spare Power Zone outlet. Still at ambient temperature.

At the moment I am not hearing anything profound with either device inplace as I listen to Doug Carn Infant Eyes, with vocalist Jean Carn.

Nothing amiss with the glow of your devices–the Snubway has always been glowless.

I’ve never known Mark to be so vocal about the specifics parts spec wise etc. within components.

I’ve found improvement with Snubway and Mainstream, though not that pronounced. The improvement from both the Line Noise Black Hole, the Snub Station Zero, and Swiss Digital Fuse Boxes (especially with the Graphene Sluggos) considerably more so, especially now that I am using the Zen Line Conditioner, which seems to be very sympatico. All of them together, and also with two Shunyata Defenders in outlets, nice!

I need to give them time, but my initial thoughts are two fold. The power at our seasonal home tends to be somewhat clean, and second the Gryphon Power Zone is doing the heavy lifting.

Listening to George Cables now, appropriate for an evening immersion:
