Someone here recommended a Raven Soniquil power cable as an affordable yet very competent upgrade. Whoever you are, my heartfelt thanks.

I have Belden BAV 12 gauge cables feeding my Stellar GainCell DAC and PerfectWave SACD Transport and was ready to get a third for the P3. Checked out the Raven 10 gauge (on sale!) and it arrived today.

Right out of the box, not even warmed to room temperature, and it blew my mind. I had barely finished hooking it up wen my wife said, “Holy cr@p, that is incredible!” I was walking back to my seat when the FM Tuner played and the voice of the announcer was crisp, almost visual, and so well separated from the background. My wife is a retired speech/language pathology professor and knows the human voice–she was blown away. I was too.

Played a series of CDs/SACDs and everything is cleaner and crisper, better separation of instruments and a wider sound stage. The big thing is the clean sound and the accompanying richness.

Rabbit hole is looking so enticing.

For the price this sounds like a great cable for you. I was going to suggest something, but even Anticable Level 3 PC is double the price of yours. However, it is a great power cord should you ever consider one that sounded better than many cords in $1000 range 😆

Sometime back I posted out I used Raven cables in my system, interconnects and speaker cables. I’m very happy with their performance and price.

If you can mount the plugs yourself you can get a fully shielded (!) cable with ferrite on every single string, and they are awesome and a perfect fit for the PP3 (in fact I sold my Synergistics and Wireworlds for these). I have five of them now.

I am not sure where to find them outside EU, the link is to the German seller: [Eupen EMC/COM Ferrit-Filterkabel, 3x2.5qmm, Meterware - ProAudio, 16,90 €](https://shop.proaudiogear.de/Eupen-EMC/COM-Ferrit-Filterkabel-3x1qmm-Meterware)

Just found a US mail address, don’t know if it works: **[customerservice@eupen.us](mailto:customerservice@eupen.us),** the German does work

Enjoy the music KnockKnock

Here is another idea. Get a pair of Furutech IF50 NCF plugs, and put them on whatever cord you have now. The SQ elevation beats most $1k cords easily. Just do not buy from Aliexpress!

Most of my power cords are Furutech with NCF connectors. At $350-$400 per connector retail, it’s kind of up there (although VH Audio is offering 20% off right now). I am not convinced that they sound any better than a decent Wattgate at half the price or DH Audio at a quarter the price. I did look at those Raven Soniquil cables mentioned above just now and wow they appear to be straight forward, well built, quality cables. If this weren’t such a compelling hobby with potential for the DIY stuff I love, I’d regret all the time and money I’ve poured into it. I think I am a sucker born every other minute.

Sucker? Don’t we all?😆 NCF plugs pair with some cables better than others, and I should have mentioned that.

Clean out our bathroom and walking closet. Man, I have more than two hundred pairs of golf polos and pants. I need to get rid of some. This may take two days to clean.

I bet that is true, I’ve used Furutech’s DPS 4.1 cable and have been happy with it - better than the wind series AudioQuest cables I had.
