I am refurbishing my old PS IVH. Putting a new rectifier bridge on the board and the downstream PS caps. Finding the bridge is not an issue. Current caps are Ace (Japan) 2200 mF 50V. I can’t seem to find good axial lead caps that are from a quality manufacturer in the same size to easily fit the thru hole leads solder location. Any suggestions?

Regarding the enhanced external power supply, I have the original HCA but know that the “big boy” was recommended to take preamp to the next level. When I buy another transformer, I assume, what specs would be required. Should it be still a 56V CT/28V but with a higher power rating?
