PWD feet

hifial said: Alekz and others, I have used the Cerabase and Cerapuc with good results under the PW DAC MK II, PW Transport and my Amps. However I have since had a chance to try the new Stillpoints Ultra Mini and Ultr SS and are blown away but the improvement to the sound. As great as the Ultra Mini are under the PW DAC the SS are that much better.

Interesting, the Finite-Elemente Cerastuff and Stillpoints look very similar.

Don’t tell me, i have just yesterday ordered Ceraballs as it seems EU power base is not released anytime soon and upgrading rack would be much costlier - I have decided to invest this bigger chunk rather to room treatment (thanks to reasonable suggestions from forum members  )

How many and what for? You need only 3 Ceraballs for light devices like PWD, because the feet must be properly loaded. For example, the Transporter is too light even for 3 Ceraballs. 1kg sugar on top of the Transporter did the trick ;)

I use Vibb Eaters on top of my gear: http://www.entreq.com/default.asp?PageId=1924
It transforms vibration into energy. You can in fact feel the heat on the bag if you expose it to extensive vibrations.

Funny stuff!

@alekz i have ordered 3 packs of four pieces.

My amp (about 20kg) will require four i think - is there any recommendation how many ceraballs one have to use for what specific weight?

The rest I will use for PWD and P5 powerplant, or eventually under the TT, but now I’m afraid the TT is too light for ceraballs, so maybe i’ll end up

Have a look at this table: http://www.finite-elemente.de/en/accessories/cerafamily/efficiency

I have ISO cups with Jasper under my integrated, and multichannel amp. Use tenderfeet everywhere else. I found their performance to be similar when swapping them around under different components.
