PWD MK II ?

Need instructions (for a friend) how to identify if PWD has a MK II upgrade board on it.

I cannot see it on the starting screen when the PWD boots.

Off hand, it is a MKII if the following questions are "Yes."



Does it have a rear panel sticker indicating MKII?

Does it have a balance control?

Does it have a remote with a balance control?

The PWD was a MK I and the question is if it was upgraded with the “Upgrade Kit” to MK II ?

And I answered precisely that question.



1) The upgrade kit came with a sticker.

2) The upgrade kit adds a balance control for which it is easy to check.



Otherwise, open the critter up and examine its innards.

Also, Mk II has a “Native X” mode, the original did not. (Balance control will be on the remote as well as noted above, and I think that Power Plant controls are added, not sure if they were on the original remote).

Yes, indeedy. The old remote has controls for the "Lens."
