I have tried four pairs of SC in the past five years, and settled with Snake River Audio Takshaka bi-wired. I am done! I like their SC even better than Takshaka PC.
The SQ is much preferred over Fidelium bi-wired and AQ RH bi-wired in my system.
HA HA HA HA HA!!! Funniest thing I’ve heard in a very long time!
But I am serious this time. ![]()
Iconoclast SPTPC Gen II and ETPC Gen I With FR20’s.
Shunyata Research Omega for bass, Audience Front Row Reserve for mid, tweeter panels.
That is an interesting pairing. Have you thought of trying Front Row to replace the Shunyata? I know it’s just doing bass but I’m a big believer in cable synergy.
All of my interconnects, power cable, and grounding system cables are Shunyata Omega X or Sigma X. I agree with cable synergy being beneficial.
The Shunyata Omega speaker cable is massive 4-gauge wire, and I believe in supplying fast current peaks into bass with low impedance. The Omega is a great cable for this. I chose the Front Row Reserve for the mid and tweeter panels, because they do not need the high wattage that the bass requires and they are not thick and heavy like Shunyata cables. The upper panels are more than 4 feet off the floor, and a smaller gauge, quality, cable seemed a good way to go.
If I had not already invested heavily in Shunyata, I would have considered additional FRR.
Two 5m runs of Kudos KS-1 in White. But I’m soon going to change to one 3m run of Van Damme Black Series Bi-Wire Speaker Cable 4x 4mm in black.
