I have been thinking a nice old tube amp would be cool with my Klipsch Hereseys, but while exploring PS audio I discovered the Sprout. Does the Sprout use class D amplification? Has anyone used a sprout with horns, will it produce that classic Klipsch sound. Waaaay less cost than an old Macintosh, that’s for sure.
Bet it would sound great. Back in the 70s, while living in Northern California, the big rock speakers were Hereseys. So much fun with those great speakers.
I think it will pair nicely. I’m running the sprout100 with speakers a lot less efficient and still drives them with authority. The low end will be revealed.
Sprout100 is a Class D amps. But Class D amps have come a l long way.
