Right now I’m streaming Pink Floyd’s DSOTM via USB from JRiver converted by JRiver to 176.4/24, and must say I’m thrilled with the performance. The sound is great so far, with the bonus of the hi-res and no cringing waiting for the unwanted gaps, micro-skips, and just plain stopping of the music. I Wish I would have tried this a LONG time ago.
