A snapshot of the European avant-garde scene circa 1970. More or less along the lines of Misha Mengleberg’s ICP - Instant Composers Pool, or Evan Parker’s the Music Improvisation Company. Sonics are great on the SouffleContiuo Records 2021 reissue. Did some one mention quality drum recording(s), well this one has it in spades.
I tried this one again, and took it out about 2/3 of the way through. The production kept rubbing me the wrong way. Just too much dub as well for me.
