It is this wonky web site, when I attempt to correct it the original and duplicates do not display, so no way to correct the post. No matter as I deleted and recomposed the upper portion. Duck-Duck-Go and the new Forum build don’t play nice. Don’t ask about the topside white banner listing links to products available from PSA, it drops down and blocks 60% of my screen.
I am in the mood or some of the finest classic jazz there can be, Louis Armstrong and His Hot Five and Sevens Volume 1 satisfies.
This CD has been on my list to add to my collection. Touched base with Rodrigo and Konstanntin at Trost. Trost won’t ship to USA. Considering what has been going on with tariffs I understand. No stock at Dusty Groove or Forced Exposure. Where did you get your copy, or is it a download? New Angelika Neiscier Chicago Tapes is on order along with Wadada Leo Smith/Sylvia Courvoisier.
I (think) I got my copy at Squidco, but it is also on Tidal/Qubuz. A really fine set, what a lineup. The ‘Chicago Tapes’ is definitely on my list, it will be out later in the month - it also is on the streaming services.
I’ve been listening to a lot of music where Josh Abrams is playing (Town&Country, Natural Information Society), but i had forgotten that he played on 2 cds with Dave Rempis.
Another wonderful lineup, another Chicago thing.
Thanks, Forgot I do have my SquidCo wish list..
He was in most fine form last Sunday when I heard him with Josh Berman, Jason Adasiewicz, and Mike Reed at Hungry Brain.
There’s something sonically satisfying about the combination of Byrd’s trumpet and Adams’ baritone sax.
