Some fairly straight ahead Sun Ra & his Arkestra from a July 1976 Montreux Switzerland performance.

That cd is from the big ICPBox box set that Han Bennink released a few years ago. I believe the majority of the material in that set was never released on cd. The ICP liked Herbie Nichols. This is ICP 026 from the same set, which collects two of the group’s records ‘Program 1’ (Nichols) and ‘Program 2’ (Monk).

Seems as though that ICP box is a must.

I scored a copy on eBay from James Jazzy. SquidCo was out. Trost’s distribution in the USA can be problematic. No streaming that I could find as well. Trust me you will enjoy it. If not I’ll buy it for a buddy.

Really enjoying this album of duets. Elisabeth Harnik is new to me, very accomplished pianist.
