Marshall Allen’s Sun Ra Arkestra has been rumored to be landing at Chicago’s Constellation March 26, 2022. Marshall is 97 years young, born May 25, 1924. It will be a real treat to see the Arkestra land in Chicago.

Not much to be said about the performance, but the advantage of having my digital system down is it has provided an opportunity for me to dig deeper into my vinyl. Sonny Rollins at his best, and in wonderful analog mono sound.

Yes, the closing track Sorcerer 1 still grabs my attention.
