So I thought about it. I thought with two pairs of golds, I could first use a pair between the BACCH-SP adio and the preamp. I could test streaming extensively. Then add a second pair, for the preamp amp connection. After a couple three weeks say. Having fully adjusted to the first Gold, adding one between the preamp and amp would be interesting.
After this, I could hook up the BACCH pair to the MU2, CD player, or phono pre. With a third pair, I could test all sources through the BACCH as well.
If I had to guess, I would guess that if I called and asked if they could send me three pair, if and when they have three pairs free, I am guessing they would say sure. I haven’t made that call yet. I don’t think it’s in our mutual interest for anyone to test these cables. Let alone report.
Lots of new Diablo 333 and PowerZone owners. That was a big ask. One recently upgraded from Bacch4Mac to an adio. Whoop, one made the subtle jump from M700s to 333. 2020s all around, speaker cables…… It has been an interesting 12 months around here. But expensive. Damn!
What is amusing to me is the Schnerzinger rabbit hole. It is very deep.
At the moment I want to stay in the dark about the Gold. Thankfully no one ever reviews Stealth cables. So no cables on Tuesday. I like dark humor on occasion.
Those were weird times!

What is your opinion on the Ansuz Sortz?
The Universal II preamp. A pair of Universal 2 amps and a Universal Power conditioner were in the cabinet. The Preamp had an excellent phono stage. I gave all that gear to a friend + my DSD Sr. and most loved ADS L710s. He uses it all most days.
