Is there such an app that will send texts or text notifications from my android phone to my pc via google or yahoo email?
Windows 10 has this built-in for Android: “Your Phone”
Okay, this is good to know. I’m still on 7 for my workstation, but I do have a 10 laptop that I could work into it.
You can use Messages for Web from Google to send and receive SMS. It runs concurrently with the Messages app on your android phone.

Oh, and there are alerts/notifications on your PC.
