The science of cable elevators?

Very tidy. My setups do not begin to approach your level of wire dressing.

Maybe because you’re busy running around the forest, dressing up dear.

If they don’t work, I am going to need to buy some sponges!

A different approach

You can try putting water in the base, and wetting the sponges to see if that affects sound!

Oooh…me likey.

These almost look made to order.

Please let us know it they end up being more than just aesthetically pleasing.

Very nice, in any event. Great find.

Cheers.

O.K., I’ll bite.

What are we looking at, exactly?

Regards.

You had to go there. Sigh.

The floor, it is the speaker cable, right?

Downside, you need a 20ft deep 3 inch gap running across the floor, otherwise you don’t get the correct separation. It can be a bit of a trip hazard, still the rug hides it quite nicely.

My wife does not like the sight of speaker cables. The cables are flat anyway, so I stuck them to the floor under some self-adhesive vinyl.

Ah, I (don’t) see now.

Cheers.

Cables hidden under hardwood floor? Interesting.

The cables are not under the floor. They are flat cables covered by some self-adhesive vinyl that matches the floor. This was at my wife’s request to make the cables disappear. She’s a bit OCD.

Sorry Steve, I’ve only just got, that those pictures are yours, rather than stock photos of unconnected speakers.

I’ll drink to that!
