My Aurender N100H 4TB is the one component I can’t easily (or automatically) shut down so I leave it running all the time. Everything else is on a timer and/or available through IOS.
I found a nice Tripp-Lite 1U UPS just for the Aurender just to keep it alive if there is a power failure or fluctuation. It fits nicely in my rack.
I also upgraded the drives on my QNAP TS-228, installed the H3 Sync app and back up my entire 1.5TB music library each night automatically.
