I love my Porsche TTS!
However, since retired it has gone from my daily driver to “only special occasions” car…
I think that interior inspired the Stealth 2020. Very nice!
It doesn’t seem to.
And I’ve never been busted for pumping my own gas into cars that I care about. When Eugene sees me pull up to the pump in my Porsche, he just waves from inside.
Interesting. Can’t believe every you read and hear then.
No Paul. You are correct. But it’s a law that’s hardly ever enforced.
And it doesn’t seem to increase prices. I’ve driven many places where gas prices seem similar or higher.
I have been on a few group rides in NJ. When 20 bikes pull up the guy goes a bit nuts. Plus alot of guys are no way you doing it. They guy would swipe the card hand the handle over to the rider who is still on bike and pump. Saved him time too. And yes us CT guys would fill up in Jersey as its always cheaper gas there than NY and CT.
It was illegal in Oregon to pump your own gas until a couple of years ago.
Living about 20 minutes south of the Wisconsin state line that’s where I usually go (Wisconsin) because it’s usually 45-50 cents a cheaper gallon. I’ve seen it as high as 80 cents gallon cheaper. So I understand what you are saying.
There’s nothing cheap in IL.
Interesting. Taking work away from the Petroleum Transfer Tech’s. Shame
I got to drive Lime Rock about ten years ago in a friend’s Miata. I really liked the track, though a few corners were flooded from a deluge the day before. Races on the weekend were epic…
OK—Never meet your heroes. Never drive drunk. Never argue Porsche vs Corvette with @ELK. Never sell your prized classic car.
I can’t even post the picture. MY '69 911S is now unrepairable.
Owner limped away with a broken wrist and ankle. (let go of the wheel, idiot).
She’s gone. I loved her. Even the six figures I got for her is not enough to bring her back. waaaa
Are you ok? Were you and the 911 in an accident? Please say no.
So sorry to hear about this.
No. I sold it long ago. The fella I sold it to did a track day. It didn’t go as he planned.
When I sold my GT3 Grand Am (raced Daytona and others in 2008 and 2009) it got totaled on the first session out.
Still sorry to hear. No bueno
For @RonP
Which one you bidding on?
