A Dwight Schrute type Question:
Weāve added many songs lately on Qobuz to the list, but they donāt show up on Roon what is the problem?
Is there a limit?
The list is a public shared list.
Any suggestions?
I have been buying albums from artists I am unfamiliar with. These tend to be generally unknown artists. More often than not these albums arenāt on Qobuz or Tidal. But I bought either CD or LP or Download. So if you are adding things I am posting that is the story.
Al,
Thank you for explaining that point, I have to say Iāve been on some wild goose chases looking for albums on Qobuz.
What Iāam trying to say is that recently I added some 10 songs from Qobuz to the BACCH playlist that appear on the Qobuz playlist, but doesnāt get added to the Roon list⦠I am adding them exactly as I did for the first 111 songs.
Sometimes Roon Lags. A restart of server new login to Qobuz resolves about 90 percent of time. Sometimes it may take a week.
Thank you, Iāll try that
I was stunned when I found out certain recordings that I canāt find on Qobuz with Roon I can find with the Qobuz app. That seems wrong.
Iāve experienced the same with the Innuos Sense app. My listening taste tends towards the more obscure so that could be a part of it. On the other hand app integration with qobuzz may be the culprit. Unfortunately the Sense app never struggles to locate SuperTramp, or Bay City Rollers for that matter.
According to the Qobuz Help Center you should be able to add up to 2,000 songs to a playlist
FWIWā¦. Iām showing the playlist as having 119 tracks in both the Qobuz app and as reflected in Roon. Is that in agreement with what you have added?
By the way, as always, thanks for taking the time to maintain this list. I probably spend more time shuffling this than all my other listening combined. Itās always interesting and a great source for demo tracks.
Roon had a major update recently and they moved everything around, looks like a bit of a learning curve needed to make things the way we want them.
It also looks like the added back some playlist we deleted some time ago from Qobuz.
If what you are referring to is the original BACCH playlist, it would be great if it was available perhaps as the āBACCH OGā with the understanding it is static. I believe there were quite a few tunes that didnāt make the reconstructed playlist. I really like the largely obscure (to me) content of the current playlist (thank you to all the contributors especially @aangen , @vmax and you Steve!) but it would be nice to have the standards contained in the original available again as well.
Little Help;
The update says you can share playlist from Roon now, but I have no idea how to post it public from Roon.
Same here. I havenāt uncovered anything within the Roon app regarding public playlist sharing eitherā¦
These recent posts (mid-Jan 2024) would lead you to believe that it is still a requested feature (not yet implemented).
Iāam like a dog with a bone, I donāt give up.
Checkout the updated playlist, please add things you donāt see.
I am still transferring from playlist 1, but I figured it outā¦
With everyoneās help!
Thank you,
Steve
Thanks for the dedication and hard work.
Thanks Steve - you da man!!
