everyone (including me) in my extended family has been sick, pink eye, RSV, flu, colds, and a baby with a rare vasculitis. The vasculitis made him look like he had leprosy: head to toe. Cute little thing still looks bad but getting better. Scared us to death before we got a good diagnosis (major effort working through a very broken medical system). All will be fine in the end and I’m gonna listen to a crap ton of music this weekend!

Iron and Win - Who Can See Forever Sountrack
I hadn’t realized that this had released a couple weeks ago. This is the soundtrack for a movie Sam has coming out that is a documentary/performance. It was recorded at the Haw River Ballroom for a select audience a few years ago. The Ballroom is one of my fav local venues and its located in Saxapahaw NC which is a teeny-tiny town that is one of the most unique places around (the nytimes even wrote about it). The acoustics in the Ballroom are excellent for an old textile dying plant.
