Cher’s first (1969) album: A cover album… Hence the Dr John track. “3614 Jackson Highway”. It was recorded at Muscle Shoals with all of the house band: Roger Hawkins, Jimmy Johnson, Barry Beckett, David Hood, etc… produced by Jerry Wexler and Tom Dowd… Album was a decent effort.! She was normal then, before she went all out Steve Austin, full rebuild! I would hazard a guess that some body parts must be on their 10th iteration. No-Way she could be cremated…‘all the toxic gasses from melting plastic and silicone’…

Thats really interesting - Ive always thought of her as far too California to have headed east to a place with that kind of history - but I really don’t know much about her career other than the hightlights
