Squeezing some listening in before going to a neighborhood clambake. (I’m not a fan of clams but Lucy wants to go).

First
Duke Ellington “Indigos” Columbia/Impex Records gold cd

Followed by
Count Basie “Warm Breeze” Pablo (Japan) cd (this early Japanese cd sounds best with phase inverted on my DAC)

A clam bake–ugh. Remember my simple rule for clam bakes, etc: Never eat fish that smells like fish.

I am not going to eat anything. There are a few neighbors I enjoy seeing at these events, but the food . . . I always eat before going.

Right now
Another orchestral album, but decidedly different!

Ben Bohmers new album - Bloom, on a signed and numbered whitelabel, normally wouldn’t buy something like this new although I do often seek out whitelabels for older stuff, but this being signed and numbered was quite nice.
