Spin Third Uncle a second time just for me, and turn up, up, up!

That one has certainly been around. Great ensemble. Added it to my collection when it was released. Blue Note released many of these straight to the cut-out bin, so I tended to buy them without paying too much attention as to the artists or type of music. Fairly out there for its time, and a huge step away from the melodic approach from early Return to Forever. I consider it more of an Anthony Braxton release than a Chick Corea one, but Chick sells.

Out Of/Into - Motion I

This one has quickly become a fav so I decided to pick up a vinyl copy - and wow in person that is one ugly shade of red. But I also dig how this quintet came together. Blue Note got them together to do a tour in celebration of the label’s 85th anniversary and by the end of the tour they decided to go record some new music. To my eats, its a band that works really well together.
