Shirley Scott Trio - Great Scott
I imagine many find Shirley’s music a bit cheesy these days but there is just something about her I love. Maybe it was that my Great Aunt Mary had a Hammond B3 organ (even though she seemed to only know how to play the song “Silver Bells” on it). I was obsessed with that thing as a kid.

When I was younger I had a B3 in my front room, unfortunately I had to get rid of it as downsized. I adored that thing.

That is so awesome - surely everyone who came over wanted to hear it too. Honestly, these days what I would have over the Hammond is the Fender Rhodes - it suits me so much more. But that Hammond will always have a special place in my cheesy heart.
Side note: I also had a friend in college with a Leslie speaker that I would kill for now.
