Not sure if it reached – 23C in the dead of night, but bitterly cold all the same. This morning we couldn’t open any of the north facing doors leading to the outside world because they were frozen solid in their frames..! So yes, it was a very cold night..!
-23C you refer to 50 miles further north at Braemar, roughly 8 miles from the Queens “But ‘n’ Ben”, the summer holiday retreat at Ballater. Some folks might need to google But ‘n’ Ben. I read oor Wullie and the Broons books as a kid. Glad to hear you are feeling better today and almost back to your eccentric self. 
Just got in this box set, one of the last of the first edition though that makes little difference.

That is a favourite album of mine. The initial Marche Tartare, with the resonant bass viol sounds and the periodic drumbeats, is unusually exciting for a Baroque piece.
@chrisj1948, I’ve noticed recently you’ve marked a fair few as favourites! Good to see. This means I can buy them with confidence. At one point I thought you were on the verge of “music misanthrope”… 
My standards must be slipping! Seriously, I doubt that the albums will turn out to be be total lemons, but they may not necessarily always be to your taste.
